I originally began my career as a graphic designer. I changed direction and pursued the inspiration to became a psychotherapist in order to impact people’s lives more directly. I went on to receive further training as an expressive arts therapist, in marriage and family therapy and clinical professional counseling. I began practicing yoga at the same time I pursued my graduate degree and soon began teaching yoga as well.
I personally found so much benefit from my yogic practice, that I had the thought that it would be fantastic to share these techniques with clients! Now I have 30 years of clinical experience and in that time I have witnessed so much transformation in clients, beyond talk therapy.
I most enjoy providing clients with the support of the therapeutic relationship, to discover the power of their own self-healing potential. They are empowered with tools to discover strengths within themselves that continue beyond the treatment hour and into their future.
My areas of expertise include treatment for depression, anxiety, stress-related disorders, trauma, relationship and family issues, grief and loss, fertility, prenatal and new parenting issues, childhood abuse issues, women's issues, spiritual values and concerns.
